Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using BizEng ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

BizEng is an online marketplace that connects civil engineering experts with clients in Sri Lanka. The Platform facilitates project posting, bidding, communication, and payment processing between parties.

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Platform.
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Expert Verification

Experts may be required to submit verification documents including but not limited to NIC, professional certificates, and degree certificates. BizEng reserves the right to approve or reject verification documents at its sole discretion.

5. Project Posting and Bidding

Clients may post projects describing their requirements.
Experts may submit bids on open projects.
BizEng does not guarantee that any bid will be accepted.
All bids are binding once accepted by the client.

6. Payment Terms

All payments are processed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
BizEng charges a platform commission on each transaction.
Payments may be held in escrow until project milestones are completed.
Refund requests are subject to BizEng's dispute resolution process.

7. Platform Commission

BizEng charges a percentage-based commission on all transactions. The current commission rate is displayed during the payment process and may be updated at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of BizEng and protected by intellectual property laws.

9. User Content

Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant BizEng a license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform.

10. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

Use the Platform for any illegal purpose.
Upload malware or harmful code.
Harass, abuse, or harm another person.
Impersonate another person or entity.
Scrape or collect data from the Platform.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between users shall first be attempted to be resolved through BizEng's dispute resolution process. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Sri Lanka.

12. Limitation of Liability

BizEng shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform.

13. Termination

BizEng reserves the right to terminate or suspend user accounts at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at its sole discretion.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
